Marsala: 2015 Color of the Year

wedding flowers marsalaYou may or may not have heard the buzz about Pantone’s announcement of the 2015 color of the year (us creatives geek out about stuff like this).  Pantone describes Marsala as “a naturally robust and earthy wine red.”  It is a color that translates well into many areas: beauty, fashion, interiors and of course, flowers!  Muted colors including blush, champagne, peach, muted greens and grey are still going strong as popular wedding colors.  Marsala is the perfect accent to any of these colors.
